How Our Bathroom Remodel Process Works

Waterproofing and detail — that is where we separate ourselves. Here is exactly how a bathroom remodel runs with Titan Project Solutions.

The 7-Step Process

01

Walk-Through

Same structure as our kitchen process, just tighter. We walk the bathroom, look at the existing plumbing, the tile condition, the subfloor, and what is going on behind the walls if we need to open anything. We go over what you want and what the space can realistically support.

02

Selections

Tile, fixtures, vanity, shower configuration, and any layout changes get locked in before we start. Materials get ordered. We do not demo a bathroom and then wait two weeks for tile to arrive — that is how bathrooms sit unusable for a month.

03

Demo

Old tile, fixtures, vanity, and tub or shower surround come out. We assess the subfloor and any plumbing or electrical that needs updating before we close anything back up.

04

Plumbing & Waterproofing

Plumbing rough-in and waterproofing done right. Bathrooms come down to waterproofing and detail — that is where we separate ourselves. Every wet area gets the membrane treatment it needs. This phase gets inspected before tile goes up.

05

Tile Installation

Floor tile, wall tile, shower tile. Set level, grouted correctly, and sealed properly. We do not cut corners on tile setting — an improperly set shower floor holds water and causes problems behind the wall within a few years.

06

Fixtures & Finish

Vanity, toilet, shower fixtures, mirrors, lighting, and trim go in. Plumbing and electrical get trimmed out and connected. Everything gets tested before we call the bathroom done.

07

Final Walkthrough

Final walkthrough with you, punch list items addressed, and clean handoff. We do not leave until it is right.

Waterproofing Is Not Optional

A bathroom remodel fails or succeeds at the waterproofing phase. It does not matter how good the tile looks if water is getting behind the wall and rotting the framing. We have seen it happen — homeowners who call us two years after a finished bathroom because they have mold and a damaged subfloor.

Every shower and wet area we do gets the proper membrane treatment before a single tile goes up. This is not optional and it is not a cost we cut to win a bid. It is how the job is done correctly.

Detail work — grout lines, fixture alignment, tile patterns, caulk joints — is the other thing most contractors rush. We take the time to get it right. You are looking at this bathroom every day. It should be right.
